Feeling Succulent Outside

Inspired by The Pothole Gardener and the sunny weather I thought I would tend to the small hole in the concrete outside my back gate.

Succulents are pretty hard-core, mine have survived flooding, drought and snow and they don’t need much root space. They also propagate super easily; snap a bit off, plant it and voila, a whole new plant!

I decided to use a little green bobbly one and a grey and red rosette one.

I made sure there was some soil in the hole, popped the plants in and gave them a little water.

That’s a bit cheerier now isn’t it?!
